Over the centuries, many romantic situations have been enhanced when one of the parties to the affair was able to augment his simple words with those from one more articulate. Because a wedding is an event centering around the unique romance of two individuals, carefully-chosen expressions of this love can make the wedding extraordinary! 

For many years, people have tried using a famous love verse at their wedding. Sometimes they use a favorite popular song, a well-loved hymn or line from a movie. Remember the famous tale of Cyrano de Bergerac? To those unfamiliar, it is the story of a person hiring someone more skilled in communication to better express his sentiments. Most of us, unfortunately, know no Cyrano de Bergerac, but thankfully, there are other options. 

Let me by your Cyrano and create a custom-written verse for your wedding. I will take your love story and turn it into a poem. 

Jane Smith (not her real name) tried to compose a poetic wedding toast in rhyme for her best friend. After endless hours, she remained speechless. I came to her rescue. She told me everything about her best friend. The result was a meaning-packed wedding toast that took the wedding party's breath away. Here is the sample wedding verse that I created.

Dear Marissa, 
Last night I had a dream that took me back in time
A freshman at Columbia, I was in my prime. 
It was there I met Marissa quite jovial was she 
Through the next four years of school, we were happy as could be. 

One night quite accidentally, she got stuck in Woods Hole 
And little did she realize how it would change her role. 
Wandering into Captain Kid expecting just to snack 
Not knowing that destiny had prepared a love attack. 

For in that most unlikely spot Marissa met her beau 
Introduced to her was Ethan and she began to glow. 
A handsome guy was he, they hit it off so well 
Very little time went by before in love they fell. 

And as my dream proceeded, Marissa came to me 
Saying Ethan had proposed - she was a bride-to-be. 
They'll make a home together, work at medicine and law 
And have the finest children that anyone ever saw. 

So unlike the x-files, this really is no dream 
Soon Marissa will walk down the aisle in a dress as white as cream. 
Wide awake I'll sit there through a happy tear or two 
Watching my friend of all these years begin her life anew!
