Return Policy for Flatware - Stainless Steel
Here at OnlineStainless.com we make every
effort to have an honest and fair return policy.
Unfortunately the nature of our business requires that we
clearly state our return policy and that we stand by our
policy under all circumstances.
Returns
We will gladly accept any returns within 21 days of purchase.
Please be aware that there is a 15% restocking fee
for all returned merchandise (even within the this first 14
day period) unless you were shipped the
wrong item or the item has verifiable manufacturer defects.
There are no returns available on Made to Order patterns.
There are NO returns after 21 days.
You will be charged the 15% restocking
fee if you order the wrong item or if you want to exchange
one item for another.
We must charge a
restocking fee in order to value the time and effort it
takes for our warehouse to pull each item, package each
item, ship each item and then receive each return, process
the return and restock the item. We
are in this business to make money and this insures that we
make at least a little profit on the transaction. Our
prices are incredibly low....and we simply cannot operate
this business unless we stand firm on the our return policy.
This return policy is effective regardless if you ordered
the wrong pattern or the wrong size.
Shipping
If
you are dissatisfied with any product, please feel free to
return it to us.
Unfortunately we cannot reimburse our customers for
the return shipping costs.
Shipping is a large cost in operating an
online stainless flatware business. Our margins are
already very slim and we cannot afford to ship products back
and forth across the country while customers look to find the
right pattern....it is just too costly. If there are
clear manufacturer defects....not just subjective nuances, but
clear defects...then we will either credit you the original
shipping costs or mail you a UPS return label. We will
not reimburse customers who take their package to the local
package store and run $50 return shipping cost charges.
Product Condition & Refunds
Refunds
will be credited to the original purchasing credit card.
All returned merchandise must be in the original
packaging, and in original condition.
All returns that do not meet these criteria will not be
accepted for return.
We recommend that you return all items via UPS or
insured parcel post for proof of delivery.
This
is fairly straight forward. The product must be in a
condition that we can resell or the customer will not get
refunded the purchase price. All purchases are credited
back to the original card. We do not offer store credit
and we do not mail refund checks.
